A hundred entrepreneurs, startups and young innovative companies from Asturias participated in the event on March 15th, seeking collaboration with leading companies.
Cristina Fanjul, Director of the CEEI, and Eva Pando, Director of IDEPA, along with representatives from 7 leading companies, participated in the presentation day of the technological challenges of the Open Innovation 4.0 program, led by the CEEI, which pursues the acceleration and market traction of young innovative companies.
The event took place in the auditorium of the CEEI (European Business and Innovation Centre), at the Asturias Technology Park, in an open session that was also streamed online. During the session, the companies ALSA, ARCELOR-MITTAL, ACITURRI, GONVARRI-HIASA-GONVAUTO, EDP, INDUSTRIAL QUÍMICA DEL NALÓN, and THYSSENKRUPP ELEVATOR INNOVATION CENTER presented their technological challenges identified within the framework of the 4.0 industry before a hundred entrepreneurs, startups and technology-based companies who followed the presentations in person and numerous companies from different countries who followed it live through social networks.
The 7 leading Asturian companies took turns speaking throughout the morning, presenting in detail each challenge identified and its context. A total of 14 technological challenges were presented very varied, related to sensors, metrology, digital virtual environments, drones for indoor spaces, 3D printing, additive manufacturing, etc.
The event allowed entrepreneurs, startups and young innovative companies to better understand the technological challenges posed by the 7 leading companies and thus be able to propose their solutions to these challenges.
