On Thursday August 18 2016 It was held in Lima, Peru, on Mentor Event within the framework of SECO's Entrepreneurship Program as an initiative of the Swiss Cooperation – SECOimplemented by Swisscontact, facilitated by Michelle Messina, an expert in startup support.
This program is being implemented in six countries: Peru, Vietnam, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Serbia. In Peru, a pilot phase is underway to provide technical support to seven incubators and accelerators that are part of the National Innovation Program for Competitiveness and Productivity (Innóvate Perú), under the Ministry of Production.
Our partner participated in the panel of invited experts. Alvaro Arias, Together with Amparo Nalvarte (founder of Culqui), Juan Camilo Lema (Partner at DF Group, a web and mobile application development company, and co-founder of escuelabal.org) and Michelle Messina, in which the topic of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Peru and mentoring related to it was discussed.
The audience included around 20 mentors, 5 startups, as well as incubator and accelerator teams made up of approximately 18 people.
