Emilio del Prado's messages during the e-volution 2017 Congress, as told by you: the audience
EPUNTO Interim Management had a great ambassador at the e-volution 2017 Congress, as our managing partner, Emilio del Prado, was a speaker at the event and shared a few words about Digital Economy, Digital Transformation and Interim Management.
This is what the active Twitter audience considered most important!

The e-congress from the perspective of our partners and Interim Managers
We are a fortunate company for several reasons, and one of the things we are most proud of is the commitment and curiosity of our team.
Five partners and Interim Managers attended the e-volution Congress 2017: Emilio Del Prado, as speaker, Tomás González Caballero, General Director of Veratya Corporate Strategies, Fernando Burgos, as partner and Interim Manager, Juan Carlos Ramírez as Interim Management and Zaqueo Azcona, as managing partner of EPUNTO Interim Management in Asturias.

We give them the floor!
Emilio del Prado, managing partner of EPUNTO Interim Management
“With prestigious speakers, meticulous organization, and excellent promotion, the e-volucion congress has been a highly qualified platform for launching our dual message on the Data Economy and the direction of associated strategies. All of this culminated in high-quality networking and the multiplier effect of the support and presence of the Minister of Digital Agenda.”
Tomás González Caballero, General Director of Veratya Corporate Strategies

"I can't help but feel proud to have been in the right place at the right time for another year." This is the feeling I've had listening to so many brilliant protagonists of the digital transformation, and the so-called "Fourth Industrial Revolution", a historical milestone that we are fortunate enough to be experiencing. It has been fascinating to listen to the professionals and entrepreneurs who participated in the fifth edition of the e-volution Congress 2017, especially insightful people endowed with an extraordinary strategic vision. This was the case for Luis Martín, CEO of Barrabés Bizz, or Víctor Fernández, CEO of Room Mate, a company that constantly looks for what to do to satisfy the needs of its customers, and not so much how to do things. "Putting customers at the heart of the strategy is the only way to move forward into the future," said Victor Fernandez. I was particularly impressed by Jaime Rodríguez, general manager Spain & Portugal at BlaBlaCar, a world-renowned company in the collaborative economy, and Juan Luis González, founder and general manager of Orange 3, a person full of life, capable of transmitting enthusiasm and positivity to all those who want to undertake a project as unique as his. But I also heard statements that should concern us all, such as the one made by Alberto Gómez Barahona, rector of the Isabel I online university, who stated that the Spanish university is lagging behind the digital change and not leading it. Other equally worrying issues were those expressed by several speakers, in the sense that Europe is falling behind due to its ultra-regulatory zeal. While others are researching and developing, in Europe we regulate and paralyze, so we will never lead anything in the digital field; said Raúl Suárez, head of corporate business at LinkedIn, agreeing with other speakers on this issue. Personally, if I had to choose between the different groups of presentations, I would undoubtedly choose the one featuring Emilio del Prado, president of the Data Economy Initiative and general manager of EPUNTO Interim Management, and Catalina Jiménez, director of UNE Consultoría y Sistema de la Información of the Sothis Group. Perhaps because strategic marketing is one of the professional specialties I have practiced most in my career, everything related to technologies involving the use of Big Data and Business Intelligence is especially attractive to me. Of course, the fact that my company, Veratya Corporate Strategies, is an active part of the Data Economy Initiative also represents a special motivational factor for me in this regard. Catalina Jiménez delivered a highly technical presentation in which she made the attendees understand the urgent need for companies, regardless of their size, to consider Big Data as essential for the survival and competitiveness of their organizations. For his part, Emilio del Prado developed his presentation through a curious story that straddled the line between fiction and reality, between what could be and what is already present in our society. The “Fourth Industrial Revolution”, its consequences and the transitional similarities with other revolutions that have occurred in the history of the economy, were the common thread of such an amazing presentation, which emerged from one of the most lucid and qualified minds currently in the field of Data Economy. Emilio del Prado complained about the slowness with which Big Data is being implemented in Spain, and launched from the stage of the e-volution 2017 Congress, key ideas to understand the revolution that is already here: "In the fourth industrial revolution, very cheap labor has less weight. The companies that will win will be those that are close to their consumers. This and other statements, born from Emilio del Prado's daily experience in the field of digital transformation, as well as the originality of his presentation, have made it one of the most brilliant interventions of the event. To conclude this brief chronicle of congress impressions, I cannot fail to mention the speech with which Álvaro Nadal, Minister of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda, closed the event. I was pleasantly surprised by his mastery of the subject, and the intensity with which he presented the national landscape in terms of digital strategy. Minister Nadal highlighted, among other things, the enormous shortage of professionals in the ICT sector in Spain, a truly worrying fact in a country with more than worrying unemployment figures. The minister concluded the Congress with good news: the approval of 50.000 billion euros in the Council of Ministers on Friday, October 6, to bring the Internet to areas of Spain that still lack the infrastructure that will make it possible.
